"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding" -Proverbs 3:5 NKJ
As we go through our every day lives, we are faced with many obstacles. Some are devastating. Some make us feel like there is no way our lives will ever be the same. Some may even seem like life will never change or get better. I know the reason it seems like there is no way out, is because we are leaning on our own understanding. We are trusting ourselves.
This world is so quick to find someone with the right answers. They will ask a friend, maybe a pastor, maybe family, and even someone who thinks they see the future. It is great to seek help from other CHRISTIANS. God encourages us to do so. But don't put all of your precious trust in anyone other than God, the one who truly knows your future. No matter where He is leading you, if you will follow Him, life WILL only get better. We have to trust His judgment. To know that He knows what is best for us. We can't have the future we want until He prepares our hearts and minds to handle what the future might hold. I can think of many things that I would like to have in my future. A bigger house maybe, my husband to retire early. Both of those things require more money. I'm not disciplined enough to handle more money. So IF it is God's will for me to have those things, He must first prepare me to have them, aswell as anyother kind of want or need
When we trust God with All of our heart, life can only get better. It will change. That does NOT mean that it will be easier, but I promise with HIS strength we will get through it. We have to let Him be in charge. Let Him lead us where He wants us to go. Let Him be God!
With God's Love,
Christian
