Sunday, the day of the Lord. The day that we are to take rest from our daily lives and rest in Him. The day that most of us spend in church learning His word. Worshiping Him with a few songs of praise. Then off to our homes to enjoy a day of football and family time. This is how it is at the Wallace home.
Far too often we all tend to save our worship and praise to God for Sundays only. God isn't awesome only on Sundays. He isn't our great King only on Sundays. Have you ever noticed that He doesn't just show up in our lives only on Sundays? And yet we tend to only show up in His only on Sundays. I am so very grateful that He is in my life always! That He is awesome always! That He is my great King always!
We need to make sure that we spend time every day in His word, Giving Him thanks, and the much deserved Worship from our hearts to His. Let Him know how much it means to us that He is present in our lives everyday, not only on Sundays!
