"Two people can accomplish more than twice as much as one; they get a better return for their labor. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But people who are alone when they fall are in real trouble. And on a cold night, two under the same blanket can gain warmth from each other. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken."
-Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NLT
It's always easier to do something when you have someone to help out. Simply just having someone around to keep you company makes a huge difference. We all need to have a buddy to lean on, to cry with, to lift each other up, to stand back to back and protect each other, to be together. It makes it harder for Satan to attack us and get under our skin. It makes life a little bit easier to handle. Having a buddy; keeps us focused and gives us accountability. Keeps us in line and helps us to make rational decisions when we aren't thinking clearly. Helps us when we are unable.
God knows that we need each other and He encourages us to stick together. When we are bound together through God nothing can tear us apart. Friends that have Jesus in the middle of their relationship are the strongest and greatest friends of all. Check out David and Jonathans friendship in 1 Samuel. It is an awesome kind of love between two friends. The kind of friendship that makes you pray that you had a friend like that. A life long lasting friendship tied together by God.
I pray that you do or will have that kind of friendship.
With God's Love,
Christian
